By car from Florence or Rome: take the A1 (Milano-Napoli), exit at Valdarno and follow directions to Montevarchi and then the S.S. 408 towards Gaiole in Chianti.  From the village of Gaiole in Chianti, follow the signs for "Borgo Casa al Vento" and Barbischio.  Before entering the village of Barbischio, turn right and follow the road for 1.5 km.
